got my rac van

Postby bj928 » Sun Mar 16, 2008 9:53 am

went up to sheffield on my motorbike yesterday bought van, put bike in back and drive van home, tops out at 82mph, pulls well in the gears with its turbo diesel, fingers crossed if i can get a few hands on deck and a place to do the job the 24v cosworth will be fitted over the easter weekend as it gives me 4 days.

that gives me a MK1, MK4 and a MK5, but the MK 4 will be banger raced once 24v gear is out, then when its finnished with i will have the MK4 axle rebuilt and fitted to the MK5 as its got the better ratio.

photos to follow.
