Hi Paul, its been a while, my vans been off the road for quite a while, but great to see your still at it.
You talking about bonnet vents, I've been looking at this for a while after overheating problems, thankfully that has now been sorted after swapping to a 2 stage thermostat from Burtons earlier this year, but shes still so hot when sitting still.
Was trying to stay clear of the usual grills so was thinking of a couple of slots instead.

ta mate, yes mk5 discs, not massive in diameter but being vented should make some difference :wink:

hi al, how u doin ? nothing too serious I hope, yes ive neglected mine for to long, and now its needing loads of jobs doin, 2 stage stat sounds interesting, will look into that, cheers, need to find a way of getting the hot air out when stuck in traffic, didn't want to put vents in bonnet but need to do something
more soon :)

cheers rw :) been doin a bit today
managed to find a pair of springs(cheers mate) had to swop out the bushes as they were fooked, and they were a bit rusty, but after a bit of grindin and sandin and a splash of colour

had to do something wiv them, they looked like they'd been laying in a river bed :shock:

did drive like sh*t with its arse on the floor, and now I can carry junk in it again, new wheels soon, might stick some weight in the back just too drop it a little bit :mrgreen:

so we had a run out in the van today, as its arse is now skyward, it seems the frontend is now toofukinlow :roll:
got a pic but cant upload it :( so ive just ordered a new pair of springs, good old ebay, what would we do without it
