To be fair, the whole forum has been very quiet of late. Keep 'em coming Browny. I'd read this entire thread a while ago but only just realised it's still live! These are my favourite threads, they inspire people to take on bigger projects. And everybody loves pics of the work!

still chipping away at my new zorsts, it is a bit slow though, got it pretty much done all spot welded together, just need to refit a couple of bits to make sure its all gonna work, then pull it all off for final welding, then paint it and fit back on.
still got the front hubs to swop over too, and decide what to do with the brake upgrade, and fit the handbrake cable on the back axle, so still got loads to do

so my new zorsts are now fully welded and painted, got the rear half refitted, but need to clean and repaint the underside of van from the axle forwards and not looking forward to it at all. ordered a new prop center bearing as the rubber looks a bit shagged, so while the prop is split apart, I bare metaled it and gave it some new paint, also painted the backs of all 4 wheels while I was at it, will get some pics up later
more soon :)
cheers.

well if laying on the floor scrubbing mud and crap off the underneath aint bad enough, spraying waxoyl under it is a proper sh*t job, got a lovely mess to clean up tomorrow, even though I masked the van down to the garage floor, looks the bollocks though, and hopefully will keep the dreaded tinworm at bay for a few years :)
more soon
cheers.

That's looking fantastic. I've what I'd consider to be a 'rust free' Mk7 and it's not nearly as good as that!
