My Mk6 Swb Low roof Van/Kipping in van

Postby Village Dave » Sun Jun 22, 2008 7:54 pm

Started on the van, No specific plans, make it up as I go, type thing, but trying to think of every eventuality.
Needs to be a van and be able to sleep in, day van type thing, (multipurpose)

Taken out original ply lining, shame its the thin stuff as its been done well, single 10 by 5 on side, nice!!!!, will keep and put back as temps, arch boxes will go back in there very solid.

washed out & waxoiled, (first error, used way too much waxoil, as it drained out the doors when left in the sun now sorted)

Started to Insulate with 3m Thinsulate, this is easy to use & fix, and the sound inside has already started to change, if its as good with the thermal properties I will be well pleased
a few pics

as it was
