you've got to remember this was a btm end of the market fire van :) one of the cheaper ones :!:

well as i've got too many projects on the go allready i thought i'd start back on with this :lol: wouldnt mind it up and running for this summer - not that much to do :|

not much progress but i've got hold of a drivers seat with a swivel base this is a mock up of how the front bed will look :D

just buy a mk 1 camper :wink: plenty about if you look real hard and search you may find a rhd one

I believe it... I can't buy what I want, it doesn't normally exist. There might be something close, but never anything exactly what I want. And as you say, it's fun to create something that you will later use :)

i thought i'd have to make a packer to move the sunvisors out so they would flip up behind the rail but they might be ok like this :)

did a bit more this week - modded a mk5 axle to fit - needed new spring mounts making and welding on further in

then fitted it on with some wellers i had - ok for now but long term i want the turbovecs or slotmags on and there is still plenty of space under the arch for adapters :D
