Love the build you've done ARTCARCOM :D :D It looks very professional!! I was just wondering what you think of the new LED lightbars compared to the old beacons?? Are they just as good or better?? Also where did you get it? As i'd like one but smaller for my connect! Looked on ebay but all i could find is cheap chinese rubbish apart from a couple of really expensive ones!!

Many thanks

Hi Artcarcom, how much roughly did it cost to make the body. the reason i ask is ive bought a mk6 chassis cab & im seriously considering keeping it for mysef to use as a recovery. ive been pricing up steel & bits of extras & its sounding to me like an expensive job. cheers. john :)

Hi just out of interest do you take on projects?

I'm looking for someone who can build a super lightweight body on a mk 6 tranny ( we cover the whole of the uk and vosa just love stealing my time & money )

By the looks of your build, strength is your important factor but as someone else posted legally you will only have a payload capacity of about a tonne.

what do you think would be the lightest body you could build with a towbar would weight?

cheers
