Took the rear side panel off.Had to take Carver heater out & flues for the fire all for a couple of pieces of timber.

New frame in
Image
Thought I`d start to make the brackets for my step before I put the panel back on.Fabricating not up to dacre standards but it wil work :)
Image
This piece will fit on the bottom of the frame to take the bolts for the step then work out how to make the supports so when you stand on it, it wont collapse
Image

Start on main supports
Image
Image
How it looks in situ needs painting & fixed in but got to take shower tray & part of the toilet so i can get some bolts through the floor Might get another bit done tomorrow.

hi greek,

as the former owner of this van - you are doing a fantastic job and i cant wait to see it finished.

it served me really well for around a year and its great to see the old girl coming back to her former glory.

glad i could sell it to such a great guy who deserves to have the best.

regards,

geoff.

Not done a lot latley repaired waste water tank ready to go back under step.Welded a little patch on box section behind front wheel, forgot to take any pics going to start with the rust on bottom of door & rain channel next to windscreen tomorrow (Tues).
Had a trip back to the graveyard today managed to save some of the furniture which hadn`t been burnt only smoke damaged, intend to set the inside up like the old one smaller bed but more storage space, luckily used to keep the cushions from the bed in my loft over the winter so they didn`t go up in flames.Got a couple of wheels & tyres which were still good £15 apiece though just had them all blasted & painted last yr with 4 new tyres its a bugger having to buy your own gear back. Was going to get the wings because the ones on miss piggy are fibreglass but too late gone but the lazy sod nacked two good doors cutting them off with a grinder. :x
Gearbox on piggy is auto but priced buying the old one with prop shaft just in case but £100 is it worth it just to have it lying about just in case :? :? All for now thanks to anyone thats interested
