Thanks all glad you like it, I like it but not as much as the one that got burnt that had a bit sentimental value plus it was original , I also don`t like the windows the old ones were ali framed & looked a lot better but hey ho it will do, don`t think there will be that many about with the Cotswold coachbiult body on it although I have seen a commer & old Bmc with a cotswold body on it. Some of you might not have seen my 1st one

Done my passenger seat this week & as one or two of you took an interest in the last seat i did thought I`d post it bit by bit, but remember I`m just a lorry driver not an upholsterer so if anyone follows my methods I will not be held legaly responsible for any cock ups
Damaged seat
Image
Cover is fastened underneath with metal clips undo with long nose pliers
Image
Image
Take damaged panel out by undoing stitching cut your panel out correct size leatherette bought from most fabric shops half a metre is the least you can buy cost £4, pin in place
Image

Get the missus to sew new panel in it helps if you use needles that are for leather as the piping you sew the panel to is quite thick
Image
Image
Put cover back on seat pull the corners in first then fasten the rest making sure you have the cover on straight I used good old cable ties instead of reusing the metal clips worked on the first seat so should be ok
Image
Image
Finished job looks passable quite a bit cheaper than an upholsterer
Image
Hope this might encourage one or two of you to do it yourself
Did a bit more to piggy today took front springs off got an advisary last MOT bushes Knacked so will see if I can get meself some somewhere

Got an advisory last Mot, front spring bushes so thought I`d get it done before I put it back on the road next month, nearside front brake sticking with it standing so cleaned the wheel cylinders up while I was on . Had to have a look around before i found a place on net down in Somerset prompt service but not cheap :(

What did you get for that mate? I'll need complete re-build of my camper if I keep. Just having MOT & bottom done at present.
