I had the day off today so I decided to do a few simple mods to my van

First up, carpeted the van out, I do removals so it means I can just slide furniture in without scratching it to hell
Cost about £30 for the gray cord and spray glue

Next I upgraded the wipers to flat blade with built in jet spray, I don't think flat blades suit the transit the reason I chose them was purely for there performance, no juddering or streaks. To add the jet spray I took off the grill round the wiper then removed the hoses from the original jets and then drilled a hole under each wiper arm and fed the the hose up the wiper arm
Cost about £25

Next I tried to fix the squeak (sounds like a bird tweeting) coming from the fan belt it also screeches under heavy acceleration. Last week I fitted a new self tensioner and fan belt but it's still the same, so I think it maybe a bearing somewhere, any advice would be welcome
here is a video of the sound

I will add some more later in the week

I had some more spare time today so I decided to fit a bluetooth handsfree kit I chose the Parrot CK3100, its a fantastic bit a kit, the sound quality is perfect even at high speeds. 8)

While I had the radio out I thought I would put a aux lead in for my Ipod and dab radio, The aux lead is from connects2 and cost £30 and it means I can listen to my Pure dab Highway & Ipod without a FM transmitter, the connects2 box plugs straight into the cd changer socket on the back of the radio, I then fed the lead into the glove box, job done and perfect sound quality :D

Sorry for the late reply, The squeak was caused by a faulty tensioner, if you get one make sure it's a ford part, as the cheap one's don't last
