Ok, I bought this van off ebay for £675, my mum gave me £100 to spend on myself - ahhh so really I got this van for £575.
Its got a wooden roof rack, well what I mean is its got 2 strips of wood across the roof (these will be removed)
Its been boarded out but boards are tatty
It looks like the sliding door has got some filler in it
Its got a bit of rust around both front wheel arches
its white
gonna replace all 5 tyres 195xR14
gonna replace cam belt
gonna replace front disks and pads
gonna give it a service cos the engine oil looks like black water, gearbox & rear diff oil ??
gonna degrease the engine bay
gonna strip out the boarding
gonna fit 2 rear seats

Hi all,
The only thing I have been doing is to remove the wooden liners and find all the rust spots and holes .
I'll update some pictures tomorrow.
Decided to replace the rear floor as its been welded up before and it has rust holes dotted about, dont suppose anyone knows where all the spot welds are located, (found the obvious ones but are there any around the wheel arches) bought myself a spot weld remover so gonna start this weekend taking the rear floor out, will provide more pictures as I progress, also intend fitting some revovable seats, gone 6 seats (only gonna use 2 I think - depends on insurance) off ebay for £20 just need some more clamps for the railing system, but cant do this until floor is done.

ok, finally sussed out how to place pics on here, although I think I need to resize in future

As you can see the floor has been welded before and rust is showing down the right side



Wheel arches will need doing as well

Found a big hole (on both sides on van), this piece is teh "T" piece that the spring leafs hand from

Youve certainly gone to town on the rear floor, chassis looks generally OK and gives you the chance to really protect the inside it. Are going to fit a new floor in?

Yep, I'll be ordering a new rear floor from beevers, think they are £180 but before I do that I need to repair both "T" sections that hold the rear spring hangers and then whilst the floor is up I will power wash the chassis and rear diff, may replace the spring thing that the brake pipes go into and also replace the brake pipes as well, then paint the diff, do something on the inside of the chassis like waxoil or even paint and the paint the outside of the chassis then put the floor door.

I enquired about buying a complete rear floor from Beevers yesterday but was told that the courier they use will not deliver this but they could supply me with 2 rear halfs as the courier will deliver these.

Dont want to buy 2 halves as this means it would have to be welded down the middle then.

I think Beevers should get rid of the courier they are using and find someone who will deliver a whole floor (admittedly they probably wont be selling whole rear floors every day), I then enquired if they could supply a whole rear floor if I picked it up myself, which may be quite hard as my van doesnt have the floor in it as Ive ripped it up now
