1st post and my 1st Ford Van

Postby Mckellar » Sun Sep 20, 2009 5:28 pm

Bought myself a Ford Transit T260 SWB /Low roof

Previous vans include :
peugeot expert 52 plate
Renault Trafic 52 plate (gearbox probs  )
Astra van (brilliant, still own it)
Volkswagen Caddy 06 plate (still own it)

Bought the van and the panels were a bit faded, few wee rust bubbles around the front arches, so my mate who is a panel beater/spray painter did me a turn and i basically got the respray for paint cost + some beer tokens (not the best respray but it has easily saved me £800)

I bought the transit as i have picked up a few big contracts that the caddy cant manage both in weight limits and storage capacity

Cheers
David
