here is my mk3 tranny still not finished
mods done so far
blacked out windows, sunroof with solar vent, badboy bonnet,big bore back box,electric windows, electric rear doors, debadged, colour coded everything lol :D

next things on the list are mondeo clocks angel eyes till i get quad conversion, the front spoiler as pictured,along with rear spoiler and skirts not pictured wheel adapters and some 5 spoke tsw's 17 inch polished rims
and colour coded interior

hi all thanks for the positive feed back all! its just sat in its first coat of basecoat at the min coz i have so many ideas in mind that i dearnt put the next coat on yet lol had a job on getting the paint its ford radiant red but trying to explain that i wanted it blinging up so it had that wow in ya face red about it.. i think they thought i was a loon trying to explain it lol prob not far wrong...lol

i always manage to get a shine on it when im painting then give it a flatting down before the next coat then ill flat it down again and laquer

hi rover thanks for the suggestion unsure about the visor but ill give it some thought i was also toying with the idea of lambo doors though or selonoid doors and a single wiper conversion

you can modify the original wiper mechanism to make it single wiper. you need to remove the o/s wiper post, extend the rod from the n/s wiper so it reaches the motor and make the arm that rotates on the motor longer so the wiper sweeps further (you will need to experiment with the length to get the right sweep), but remember it will leave the top corners of the screen unwiped.

That's why Rover said about the merc one as that would cover the whole screen.

Tis true :D But they are majorly expensive new, I replaced a motor on one a few months ago and the chap wanted new :? .... £265 :shock:
