handbrake is easy - if you look you'll see the rasied bit in the floor for the rhd hand brake just drill out that and fit your handbrake in in - for the bit under the floor of the van cut one out of a rotton mk3/4/5 as they are the same (i'm pritty sure) then just leave the one for the lhd there and put some grommets in the old holes job done :D

ive finaly got hold of some New Old Stock early front indicators/side lights  ill have to drill a second hole in the wing for the second wire as the indicator on it at the moment only has one wire -(i might also re-powder coat the metal indicator surrounds) ive also got hold of a mk2 black single and double front seat (pics soon) so as you can see im busy finding bits and bobs for the van :)

too rite mate when your driving down the rd turning heads and you just know that if you see one comming the other way its a bonus .ive had that many people trying to buy mine offering stupid money one guy offerd me 3k as it stood but what do you buy for that kinda money its going nowhere its mine it took me long enough to get it.look at it this way spend a grand on a full respray on a mondeo or somthin simlar next year its probably worth less than the paint job ,spend a grand on your mk1 next year youve lost nothing and youve got one cool van ,theres 4 & 5 year old motors on the pile in the scrap yard
if its got tits or wheels its always gonna end in trouble !!!
anyone can restore a van but it takes a real man to chop it up !!!
