hello me again, i have already posted my van on here but i thought i would post it in the progress reports section as after cristmas work will start on it, i have most of the parts for the LHD to RHD convertion including a disc brake front axel apposed to a drum axel which it curently has. i also had to get a new clutch fitted - that was a bit of a pain as it is a 1.7
i had to get it from germany, set me back a prety peny aswell. for future reference it there somewhere in england that would do a german clutch or am i going to have to keep forking out.

the van went for an MOT the other day...as you can guess it diddnt pass it was just to see what needed doing,
i propose a little game called "who can bring back an MOT failure sheet with the most pages" - ill start,
the van came back with 3 pages of failures and advisories - thay are not to bad just things like lights and welding and some problems front axel wise but i am changing all that so it dosent worry me

can anybody beet 3 pages of failures

ill keep you updated when the work starts

dash's you can do it 1 of 2 ways - either find a rhd mk1 dash cut it out and weld it in complete or the easier way is to weld and fill the hole in the lhs and cut a new one in the rhs - you can do this as the dash panel is the same all the way across :D madmark is the expert on these as he's done a few - ive yet to do mine :D
