finally desided to paint the wing the other day - couldnt deside if i liked the patina look or not...well i did but i was worried if i left it the ust would eventually eat through so i painted it :lol: 8)

I did things to mine all the time, until I got a job working many many miles away. I just wasn't that good at it... but as you know, things can change :wink: I suggest you check out AndyG's old one which you said would never get another MOT, and the local ford dealership wanted to borrow as a good example for their 50 years event at the moment. (Shame I'm using it at the moment moving house)

theres talk in a few weeks of taking it up dads unit and taking the doner vans engine out as somone wants to buy the doner van to put a 24v cossy engine in

its stalled unfortunatly pending the rather complicated engine transplant i have in mind and the fact i have no where dry to work :lol: :roll:

i have somone who will help install the engine ect but dosnt want to do the wiring

but i have somone who said they will look at the wiring and theyre prety good usually

started stripping the doner van with a friend today, for a rotten old transit its bloody mint in some places :?: :lol:

not sure when the convertion will go ahead but to be fare im keeping at it now and again rather than giving up and selling the whole lot :wink:

What motors in the donor then? Not a Di I assume?
What happend with the pinto you had? It didn't have an od box on it you aren't going to use by any chance?
