Let the fun begin

Postby Neilg7777 » Thu Jul 07, 2011 11:11 pm

Well just picked up my mk5 100 transit v plate it has the rust in the usual places and the back door is bad. Drove it back 70 miles with no probs so thats good. I looked in the back and there is a box which is a mastervolt 12/500 sine inverter now having a google it looks a good bit of kit. The van has been used as a van and needs a good clean and not looking forward to the other supprise it is going to throw up.

I will prob be selling the inverter as its not what i need in my camper plans also may have a roof rake for sale with ladder
Thanks Neil

Well let down by another welder saying he was coming to cost the job and no show. How hard would this be to do for someone who has never welded before as it looks like its going to be myself doing it

Thanks supersport great offer of help I think it needs 2 spring hangers and 2 end plates and bits of floor as you can see in the pics normal sheet metal will do as all will be boarded over. I can get new spring hangers on ebay would that be the best bet also what other materials would I need PM me a price with fuel and materials and also what materials i would need to get this end.
