My Mk2 Transit Camper cab repairs

Postby davev6newman » Mon Aug 15, 2011 8:17 pm

Having spent most of spare time on my V6 Ci Caravan conversion over the past year, ive been neglecting my other van and the winter has taking its toll on the bodywork.

Although the cab had been resprayed 3 years ago the prep was poor and the rust was not cut out, so naturally it would all start to bubble up.

Bottom of the doors was the worst parts ,but the bonnet which was a new part was lacking in paint on the underside and was bubbling up under the washer jets and around the air intake. There was also a few other spots coming through, so i decided to has these bits done profesionally and a whole cab respray from the top of the doors down.

These are the pics they have sent me so far.
