Cut the chassis this evening still has the paint inside

And removed bump stop that will be reinstated later

I will make plates to strengthen engine mounts on inside of chassis and plug weld them to original chassis and engine mounts I'm cutting inn they won't be falling out when I've done what I plan

Thanks raymondo I'm off the mk1 for a few weeks I've just bought a mk2 transit I'm going to break so wait untill I get that for reference on height of mounts before I start welding on the mk1, cheers Ray
