cheers vandalism the guy in the pic is the son of the late owner the track rod end has broke, i was told by the auction house that when they tried to move it they had pulled the front axle out of it, because of rust? and it wont be at auction but they will still be selling it on the day, so i became a telephone bidder i found it by chance looking at a classic car web site ad looked at a classic car and it was going to auction so clicked on there web site looked down the page and there it was thats or should i say this is why i was trying to sell my van pdq. but didnt need to found the money by hard work

i slept well last night i drove from porstmouth up to kings lyyn and back and had a night mare getting it out of the mud and got stuck for an hour and id only had four hours kip before i went lol when i first clapped eyes on it n the flesh thought OMG but it looks much worse than it is they said that they had ripped the front axle out of it trying to move it. (they havnt) just broken track rod as for the front its solid, so two weeks work there i wont have to do! and its got the auto shifter (a bonus) and bits in the back i can sell, but the down side is i have no idea of the reg number no number plates or tax disc but it does have the chassis number plate and on this is stampted 68

if you go to your local car dealer and get them to run an hpi check using the chassis no you may be able to get the registration back off it, depends when it was last on the road although it does seem to be a bit pot luck as I have found on a few classic bikes!

20 yrs would be 91 so should be on the dvla computer system I think, might be worth contacting dvla with the chassis number as well.
