Bit more this evening, plate tack welded in place, measured up across mounts match width on engine, them measured back etc all match and corret so im happy with that, next job weld left side in properly

Thanks ray for the comments and seeing my old mk2 is great not seen those pics before brilliant, but the mk1 will be better, good to hear from you we will meet up at route 66 Burger van for tea and catch up, mum is good thanks and not missing being at the shop, hope you and Elaine are also doing ok, keep bashing away all the best.
