B is ford of britain C is langly plant build O5 is transit range HA is march 1968 thats based on the info you ve shown

looks that way dvla will know off your vin when you apply or will give you a 68 number

I checked my chassis number and the first letters and digits are the same as your van, and even mine has the early control heater leavers in the middle.From the vincodes,i can see that 99% they were made in the same month of march and probably there the most closest survival mates.My chassis number is BC05HA18027 and registration was FGL451F, 1968 model, but manual not automatic. Are you nearer to 18027!!!!!

:shock: :shock: that would explain the missing plates then and logbook :( been sold long ago a real shame that numbers great for a mk 1, if its been registered scrapped and the number transferred you will have some fun getting it registered
