didnt later mk1's have a larger window??
i think mine is same as that!!

That would explain it. The later ones have a window slightly wider at the bottom than the top, carried on to the Mk2s.

Just had a look at mine its the same and its a 1972 I supose this is about halfway through the production of mk1s

changed window sizes mid 74 n or p and carried it on to mk 2 neil
