1) side door is on the wrong side (poss a LHD conversion)
2) nice birds nest in the battery tray (just how long has it been stood)
3) that close up of the step is saying rot to me
4) yeah the wings need to be replaced, but take a closer look at the rain chanels under the bonnet and pop an indicator out and see if its rotten behind there.

If it is a conversion (L/RHD) is that such a bad thing (Mark)?
Beleive me it takes no time at all for some robins to build a nest, had one under the back end of the big un in a weekend!!
if you look in the back, there is another pair of wings waiting to be fitted.
If you tried taking one of my indicators our, I would slap you.
I agree about the last bit, and check inside under the windscreen and outside at the bottom corners for blown bubbles in the A post.

lol ... is that because i would see all the filler you had bodged in there ?

seriously though, the inner wings at that jointing edge is very prone to rust

as for the windscreen thing yeah, thats another one of those favourate and awkward as fook to get to places fords like to rot, miine had a little bubbling, but no holes that i know of, rust cured it all and will be taking the windscreen out soon so if i find any issues there i will fix it from the top

To tell if a MK2 has been converted from LHD or not, Look where the mirrors are mounted, drivers side on the wing, passenger side on the door.
