tyres/pressures

Postby Caulky » Thu Nov 10, 2005 1:55 pm

Just been given a quote for 4 Michelin Agilis 195 R14C tyres.
On offer at the present.
Ok, very good BUT what pressure should they be?
The Transit handbook says:
100 2.4 diesel Front 30psi Rear 45psi.

This is a camper,...so you could say that it is
always fully laden.
The handbook quotes `kerb weight` 1371kg (3016lbs) for this model.
BUT, the actual weight is 2375kg (2413lbs) 2.3 tons.

Do I need to find out the axle loads?
It seems pretty obvious that the pressures given for tranny 100 diesel wont do.

Tried to find info on the web and here. [are tyre pressures secret?]
Help
