Can you get 2.9 V6 Engine mounts for a MK2?

I everyone, I'm looking to put a 12v 2.9 v6 in my LWB mk2. Need to know if it is posible to get engine mounts or is it a case of getting them made up, i've seen a cossie v6 in one and the bottom end is the same as the 12v so it is do'able, so if some one knows if there are mounts that fit or you have some idea of where to get them i would be very greatful

you can get them but they are rare

you'll find them on 2.9v6 mk3's (factory svo ones) try anyone who's breaking and ambilance

if you get stuck PM me as i have 2 jigs to make them

If it's Mk1 then it will probably be for the Essex engine.

I put a request on a part finding website for the mounts, most of the time when you put in a request you get continusely bombarded by emails, say that there's one here for this much and one there for that much , most of them are way overprised but some are more sensable (normally the last ones you get)... Anyway got a reply today saying that there are NO v6 mounts anywhere! so i sent an email back saying LOOK HARDER! ... That'll get them working

as luke says ambulamces have them and usefully I have a pair from an ambulance - would you like them? as they won't fit my 24v so I'll be making some anyway making them ain't hard though its just a matter of drilling plates and a bit of trial and error with angle iron and box - or borrow the offered jigs!

I dig up the subject because I have the same issue with my V6 2.8l ...I'm looking for engine mounts to fix the engine in my Ford Transit MK2 ...
the ones I got are for a Granada and they are too long ...
