Thanks very much everyone for your kind comments. The transit has the 2ltr v4 in it, but sounds like a v8 with the 3inch pipes reducing to 2 inch going into the back two silencers. i got the rear arches from america .They are strong fibreglass but 3inches wider than those on a fordf100 1956. I could not afford to buy metal ones. By the time i got them over here to northern ireland they had cost me £1400 in total. The white indicators i got from Ralph. There is a green german ford transit pickup on the internet which im sure some of you have seen. Its a lovely machine and my transit is designed along similar lines to it. There are still some things to do to it yet. There is no floor bed in it yet but i have the wood for it . The wood had been on Bristol pier for 30 years so should last ok. The rear wheels are banded steel wheels with 3 inch band inserted to make them wider. They are still not out far enough in the arch and need a 50mil spacer inserted yet. The front wheels have had the rim offset changed and makes it fill the front arch better. Tyres are 215x55x16 all round.I ordered stainless steel bed strips from America through a firm in England .I waited 4 months for them to come and when they eventually arrived they were too short. I had ordered 8ft strips but they sent me 7ft 2in. They have admitted it was their mistake but seem reluctant to do any thing to resolve the matter. A dispute is now in progress via mastercard.
If anyone wants more info please feel free to ask me and i will only be too willing to help.

Hi Bambi, Are you from Northern Ireland ? What show is on at Causeway Coast in August. The photos i put up at the start seems to have disappeared of the forum. Why would that be the case?

With reference to above topic posted 15th July 2019, i am taking this Transit to the NEC show in Birmingham. It will be on display on the Transit Van Club stand by kind permission of Peter Lee.
Maybe i will meet some of you there.
