Cheers for the tech tips Gunslinger
I thought about relocating the axle, problem being with that is the axle tubes on the 9" are quite large and woud require resetting the springs to get 3/4 bump travel
Option 2 changing shackle length, I dont know if theres any shorter off the shelf items that i can bolt in, i cant cut/weld them as its illegal to cut/weld suspension components in Aus
Another problem is pinion angle, if i raise the rear of the spring the pinion will point to the ground, theres a good and a bad with this the good being it aids in traction under hard acceleration the bad being it kill unis
I think the go would be new or reset springs im going to call K-mac suspension today and see what they recomend, they done some suspension components for transits like sway bars etc
There is other more safer ways to carry a big load without using raising blocks
My van has had an extra thick bottom leaf added to cope with a heavy load
you can fit poly air springs on the existing leafs
or you can add a universal aider spring like i have done to our falcon
none of these methods raise the hight they just stop the springs from compressing
