BC31
Is That correct I thought transit mk 1 chassis number started BC05
Anyone know better

yes bc05 is the norm ,they did ship kits to other places could be one of them ?

BC = Ford UK(B) and manufactured at Langley(C) and 05 would be "Transit" for all Ford UK vehicles

71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 81, 82, 83, 84 and 85 were used for German built Transits depending on weight and type ie Van, minibus etc.

So a GA71 would be a German (G) SWB van (71) built in Cologne (A).

So the confusing thing is the 31. I have no idea on that.

Could it be D series lorry?
Did they make D series at Langley?
