Does anyone know how to remove the headrests on mk2 seats?

To be honest I don’t remember a kk1&2 having headrests have you got a better photo ,on the mk3 with adjustable headrests had a clip you push in to pull them out that’s the first transit I can remember with headrests

If there's no release button on the seat back, around the base of the headrest stalk, then surely they must just pull out :?

Some headrests on something I worked on years ago can’t remember what it was from the rear of the seat so far down from the top you could push a bar that was inside seat back forward to release the rest you wouldn’t know it was there with it been inside the seat .it may be worth having a press round the back.
It may not have been on a Ford but we only had very non Fords on the fleet.

I asked an old worker at a ford company in cologne/Köln Germany. He told there was a tool like a iron ruler, flexible. You have to stick it from the top of the metal-holder down, front side, to fix a pin not to snap into place automatically. Without the ruler it snaps into. I tried at mine, never got it out.
In German websit "transit-stammtisch.de" they talk about, with pictures.

It is difficult to get down along the holder, maybe you get it....
