I am changing gaskets and seals on my 1,5 v4 cologne from 1970. I was trying to remove the lower pulley in the attached picture, but it is stuck. Do I need a puller or is there a locking pin or something that I cannot see? Also, is there a seal here? It looks like the bolt leads into oil when I removed it, but there was no seal. At best there was part of a seal, but it looked more like dried gunk.
My Transit did not get approved because of oil leaks, so I pulled the engine to change sim rings and gaskets. It looks like it was the sim ring on the gear box and the left side rocker cover gasket that were the sinners (if anybody was wondering what is going on). Perhaps some more.
