Hi all, new member here doing up a Mk2 Transit motorhome and I was hoping you could help!

I am after the steering drop arm bush and new kingpins.

Also need some advice about a good place that can recondition the steering box.

Any advice greatly appreciated! I'll be in here quite a bit in the next few weeks with maaany questions too!

Kingpins should be straight forward - theres lots on Ebay! dont get carried away battering the old bushes out as often they can be fine with just a new pin and the top bearing, would be a shame to need to ream a fresh set to size to get back where you started!
Steering boxes - I've no idea of specilaists with specific Transit knowledge, but a bit of googling finds a few - Holman look convincing, - if it was just a worn bush then a good engineeers would prob just remachine a standard unit from a bearing factors, but if the main screws shot then it might be easier to get a second hand one as the rebuilder would want to start with the best kit of bits.

Thanks a lot, I'll give them a try. I also need various bushes including the drop arm bush that connects the drop arm to the steering gear.. never had a steering box before so am a little unfamiliar of the exact terms!
