Oil quality for LSD rear axle

Postby fredrik » Sun Dec 30, 2007 11:19 pm

For my -79 recovery truck (http://fordtransit.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=6907) I'm gonna use a LSD rear axle from a 1990 190 van that I've dismanteled earlier.

This one..

I'm gonna change oil seals, replace the brakes and paint it so that it looks like new.
I can't find any info on what type of oil I should use in the rear axle, normally LSD axels requires diffrent oil than a standard axle.

For the standard axle 90W is recommended
Can anyone help me with this info please

Thanks / F
