Steering Box Info needed

Postby MikeBull » Mon Jan 07, 2008 11:21 pm

Hello everyone! I'm after some general info re. the steering box on a Mk1 Transit- would it be possible for someone to please provide a picture or two of one, or perhaps a diagram from a manual or the like, so it's general appearance can be checked?

The reason I'm asking is that it's one of many steering box types suggested for the restoration of Donald Campbell's Bluebird hydroplane!

Thank you!

Mike

Cyberchild do you not have anybody that reconditions steering boxes near you? You would have to have the van off the road, but take yours in and get it reconditioned.
