Good god! It's amazing that people will think some things just can't be bought anywhere else.

About four years ago I bought of set of Mk 1 mirrors listed as show mirrors for a Austin J2 I use to have. They came in a box with a Mk 1 on the side of them, paid about £40 for them only to throw the boxs away and keep one as a shaving mirror and sell the other one lol

Are there two lengths of mirror arm? I have only ever seen one length, which must be a pain on a camper.

Mk2 long mirror arms are for the chassis cab, that's what you need to be loiking for, also the sherpa long arms will fir the transit with no modification. That's the sherpa of the same age as the Mk2, not the LDV.

So I take it one can buy new MKI mirrors but not new MKII mirrors? Sorry to stray a bit off topic. Just can sympathise with people who do pay through the nose on ebay because what else are they going to do if they don't know where to get em?

Our original mirrors were nicked off the van, and when we tried to replace them we found out why they'd been nicked. The drivers side mirror we have now is a waggly piece of s**t.
