Landliner Bits

Postby fremsley » Sat Aug 16, 2008 10:53 pm

Hi All,

Been a awhile - i think we may have nearly sorted out the interior etc on my landliner. However need a few bits and advice,

Anyone know where i can get a battery holding clamp - one of mine is missing - also has no bonnet stay - so using a bit of wood at the moment.

Can anyone let me know the correct tyre pressures all round?

Where to get a halogen upgrade light kit?

Cheers

The battery clamp can be replaced with another Ford one, I think one of the batteries on our Mk2 luton is held in by a mk4 escort clamp.

The halogen kit is the same as the mini, the headlights are the same. The kit can be bought from large motor factors.

As for the other bits, the bonnet stay is pretty low tech, have you thought of making one? Also try Wardy, he might have one.

Sorry can't help you with the tyre pressures.

Yes, landliners are Mk1s. We have the halogen conversion on the SWB Mk1. The kit was about £26, which I am told is dirt cheap.

Cheers all,

I think the brochure said that my camper was based on a FORD TRANSIT 130 Custom (Is the the LWB model) any ideas on tyre pressures?

Also got a front panel surplus to requirements (V4), anyone interested (in the adverts pages)?

Cheers
