Took an astra van in the frag yard today and there was an immaculat Mk2 minbus LWB S1 (EX council) in there, somone had already had the doors and they'd dropped a car on the bonnet, it was mint! steel rear arches (dented to bugger but totally no rust managed to grab the switches and indicators before they ripped it appart to get the engine out and rip the LPG tank off , i could have cried (bloody bearly did).

do you think it came strait from the council do they still run mk2's might be worth sending an email off see if they have any more they are planning to "scrap"

Well it had the Ghosts of the harringay stickers (or at least part of it as the doors were missing) but it was mint drivers seat was perfect and it was batterd enough for any filler to have fallen out but not a sign of any
Could have come from an auction but who'd buy a compleat van just for the doors and then scrap a perfectly good shell after removing the stickers?

not as ruined as me mates, he was with me and needed the front for his recovery truck
