Are any of you trany camper guys in the classic camper club, oh this is not an add for them lollll.
Jest interested in knowing if you are members, and do you have any info on wild camping.
We have a 1978 CI Coachbuilt, that we are getting ready for our travels.
My wife and I want to see as much of the uk, for as litle cost lollll
it may be of interest, we know of a few free spots on anglesey that or ok.
Also jest before St Davids in Wales there is a car park by the beach, that you can park all day for £5, and stay all night, fishing not bad BASS.
loo open all night, and fresh water bowl otside for the dogs.

im not in the classic campervan club - my classic camper has gone and now i have a more modern one!! but when the kids are older - i'll be swapping it for a smaller one mk1 transit me thinks!!!

ours is mk1 1978 CI Coachbuilt, we had an Autohomes Van conversion 1976 in 2000 sold it a got a new fiat ducati Sundance, what a load of crap that turne3d out to be, things fell off it and bed colapsed, and no i was jest siting on it loollllllll.

Don't go to Yarmouth in Norfolk wild camping.The council there has got all prissy and sticks fine notices all over your van.(Unless you're a 'traveller' that is,then they don't come within a mile of you).Come to think of it,there's nothing to recommend the place so don't go to Yarmouth full stop.

We were in the ccc with our little blue canterbury. It was great to start and we enjoyed the magazine. Went to one weekend in Southampton and we were made very welcome. The people who originally started the club then took over the running and in our opinion it became too political. With who could and couldn't be members, age of vans and the conditions surrounding staying a member if you had to buy a 'modern' van. They also changed the magazine, for the worse, and it just became one big argument all the time. We therefore cancelled our membership after 5 yrs.
Not saying its not a good club with the help service etc, but not for us.
The caravan and camping club do some very cheap campsites and what they call hideaways which are just a field. They also do holiday rallies and everyone is welcome everywhere. We joined them and have been very happy.
