Very easy fuse box help needed

[3 Way Tranny Fun]

I havn't got a manual,can someone identify fuses from left to right and everything that runs of each one.Trying to get back lights working on my recovery/pickup

That's what the diagrams on the door is for mate!

1, Hazards
2, Dipped beam
3, Main beam
4, Side lights front/rear instruments
5, Side lights front/rear
6, Dipped beam
7, Main beam
8, Indicators
9, Horn heater fan
10 washers and wipers
11 Dash/ignition? (one of ours won't start if you take this one out, but not all of them)
12 not sure, it's usually empty, could be towing electrics?

I was getting confused with the various light symbols and just want to know for sure so I can trace it all the way back and see whats happening.

check yer earth wires on the back end

there is a main junction in the loom by the fuse box, that can come loose.

those old chalk fuses nightmare giv um a twist or turn in there holders make sure they makin connection both ends

Was number of probs switch was faulty but a mk3 one fitted the plugs but doesn't quite go on properly have re drilled holes but bolts to short,will go to factors and get longer bolts tomorrow;shame plastic surround won't fit round mk3 stalks.There was also bad earths at the back and the rear light units are old and no amount of wet n' dry and bulb wiggling could get reliable lights;will get brand new chassis cab rear light units (were are the cheapest?)
Also has anyone got light/wiper switch stalk?I have paypal.

The rear lights will be generic rubberlights. They don't really go wrong, unless they have taken a hit, are you sure they are at fault?

I have a small mountain of switches (about 20 pairs) if you want one, you won't get the Mk3 one to fit, it need the casting for the steering lock. We tried that once, did the whole thing, switches casting, steering lock, cowling, but I was never happy with it and the wash would not work with the wipe.

Fairly sure cause I have to keep wiggling bulbs about to make a good connection tried getting corrosion off contacts and bending contacts so they grip

Do did you actually get power at the bulb holders at the back? Do you want a light switch then?

Forgot to say I am getting power to back lights when I use MK3 switch.I will try longer bolts tomorrow as a bodge for now for mot.

If you want standard lights for a Transit I can't help, if you don't mind a change these might help

It does sound like the switch, but do you have lights on at the front? Silly I know, but have you changed the bulbs? Remember I said you can get new rear lights form Rubberlighs.
