no they are acceptable - there was proberbly a problem or combination of problems with that one :!:

kingpins need greasing they can cease up if not - also the tracking being out can cause it, old tyres where the sidewalls wear causes it. finally the steering box itself but not very oftern on transits - usually as they wear they become vauge :)

Could be as simple as underinflated tyres.

When I bought mine it was the same thing, it was so hard that I was afraid to park it :lol:
The 2.5 Di engine is a bit heavy on the wheels but just as luke said :D

The manual probably sez 30 something psi for front tyres - ignore that it's well out esp. if you've got a 2.5DI in it - more like 50psi. Then it steers OK but a modern van it ain't!
