Hello every one

I'm new in this forum and I have a qestion for more intelligent transit owners.
Does any one have experienses of adding a turbo charger to transit mk2 2.4 York?

IMHO utterly pointless and a waste of a turbocharger, you wont be able to run more than a few pounds boost without risking a blow up, there is no fuel compensator on the pump either so you would have to make it very smokey before the turbo spools up to get any advantage of the extra air once there is boost. i do know of someone who turboed a 6 cylinder york,.........it blew up :lol:
of course you can do it and it will work and give you maybe 10HP more, but it would be cheaper to fit a 100ps Tdi. and way better.
and it will start in the cold :lol: :lol:

AT least it must be a di (an early one), I have done this to my MK3 di , its an average job If you can get hold of a welder and grinder :lol:
easy way is to put a turbo engine with five speed box in, they are stronger(have been planned for taking a turbo ie. stronger pistons ), and worth the job.
