MK2 York, I;m looking for a detailed picture of a enginepart

Postby frankwilliams » Tue Jul 21, 2009 11:14 am

Hi,

Who can help me with a detailed picture of the "clamp" which retains the "Engine stop" outer cable at the engineside!
My outercable is fixed with tywraps on the original bracket by the previous owner, and this is not working very good.
I'm guessing that there is a small part missing which retains the outer cable.
I have no clue how this smal part should look like!

My transit is a early mk2 1978 york diesel!

The local dealer looked quite confused when I asked him this question, so any info or picture would be nice!

With kind regards

if you could provide a photo of what you have we mightbe abl to help..
my york doesnt have a stop cable but stops on the key.
im guessing its like the sort of clips used to hold a throttle cable onto a carburettor though
