What type of carb do you have on your V4 and what make/model of air cleaner do you have attached to it. Cheers

I can't wait to take her out for a spin again on Sunday - just got to keep my eye on some rogue jubilee clips

After the rebuild it seems some of them weren't as tight as they should have been and a had a couple of small leakage incidents

But other than that I'm trying to adjust to taking corners slower than I used to as halfway round some 40mph bends I get visions of the afterlife

I found going round one particular corner far too fast gave me a rather large leakage incident.

I have a twin choke Weber (32/32) on her and am unsure of the make of the air filter housing as it came with the van and there are no manufacturers stamp on it

Maybe it is something that was pretty common for British cars in the 1960's - sorry I don't know

Inside it is just a circular strip of foam (the sort you would find in your sofa seats), that I replace from time to time when it turns black

I'd forgotten you had the twin choke corsair carb on your transit.Thats why you had the problems with the accelerator cable,the transit ones would be too short and have the wrong ends as they are made for the original carb.
