it is a single choke 34mm carb with a 29 mm venturi
i dont know what the bolt pattern for the flange is, some more checking needed for that but its about right to swop onto the ford single barrel carb with 2 mounting bolt inlet

Is "choke" a synonym for "barrel" in the British Isles and can a carburettor have more than one choke (the type that comes on automatically or manually when the carb is under a certain temperature)?

Rudolf with his German English and his "sequential carburettor" made more sense to me since I understand a two or more barrel carburettor to work in a "sequential" fashion, with the second barrel taking over the job when a certain stage is reached.

Once Chinese English starts making more sense to me you Poms are in real trouble.

an as referred to "british" twin choke carb is a name given to a twin venturi carb (with 1 or 2 choke plates for easy cold starting ) and works as a compound (1 throttle plate[primary] opens before the secondary like a 32/36 dgav or works with both throttles opening at the same time like a 38 dgas

there that should be easy enough for an aussy beach bunny to grasp
