imo and i have converted a few they just dont drive as nice as they did as a petrol! :wink:

i had one in for a bit went back to petrol just not the same with a di are they. mine was a swb though maybe the coachbuilts can take them a bit better.

Hi, take it from me that you wont regret driving a V6 Mk1, but it does need an overdrive box for cruising. But i seriously doubt that you would want to use it for an everyday vehicle. I had a V6 camper for 5 years, but only as my second vehicle, not my everyday motor. The steering is quite heavy for parking and fuel consumption would be about 15-20mpg, you could try fitting an electric cooling fan but that is just like weeing in the wind when it comes to the consumption. But once you have had a V6, nothing else comes close.

Phoned him lastnight Neil no bids yet he`s looking for good money for it I`m still thinking about it might put a bid in.Can`t get to see it though cos he`s in spain & I`m going to spain next wk so we will be crossing paths as it`s time on ebay comes to an end :idea:

i have had these type wheels before and they are bad on the nuts ,they wind in so there is very little holding the wheel on ,i think maybe ok on a small van with no weight :wink:
