Any ideas what this little hose tail is for on the side of my bosch 145?
The pump came with no pipework so im just trying to work out what goes where

Ok she lives :!: 8) 8)

Been for a spin and she pulls ok but not as well as i would hope, ive fiddled with pump timing slightly and it made it better but still not ideal.
Fully advanced made it very loud and clacky and slower, seems to prefer roughly the spot on the timing holes.
Is it time to fiddle with the fuelling of do i need to get someone in the know to cast thier eye over this pump timing?

Have you played with the fueling of the pump?

And have you checked the boost pressure of the turbo?

And checking the tappets would do no harm either.

Ok so i got twitchy and turned the pump up, a half turn at a time till i got to 2 full turns, she now flies, well compared to what it was anyways.
Im not sure if i have set it up right though, its quiet, starts easily and pulls well through the gears.
I cant see even a puff of smoke though so maybe it needs turning up more???
Your thoughts guys are most welcome

Bosst gauge is to be fitted tomorrow, bleed off valve after that, tappets are within tollerance, btw redeemer, do you still need a bosch 145?
