The rear lights are on a Mk2 phase2, between 84-86. In the UK there are more or these than the earlies, like yours, for some bizarre reason!

I always thought the MK2 phase2 rear lights had a larger opening but as I have seen them fitted to a MK1 camper they must be able to be made to fit..............to be honest I like the MK1 and MK2 lights much better :D :D :D

You can't get them new any more, but good second hand ones are easyish to find, and you may find new old stock on ebay.

Luke if you look closely at a phase2, the metal is exactly the same and the light fits ovet the top! It's Ford's not wanting to spend any more on the body shell. When you think about it, they would have to re-tool the whole panel shop just to change the rear end, I think not.............

mk1 not phase 1
I was just saying mk2 (either phase 1 or 2) will fit a mk1 but you need to cut metal - did it on mine cos the mk1 lights went orange

The free to a good home section is on this forum, and is for parts that nobody wants and are giving away to anybody who will collect them, or pay the postage. BUT just had a look for the URL to post for you, and the section has disappeared!! What happened Luke?

Its still on at the mo...
reads..............
just found a few forggotten bits while digging in one of my lockups.

pair phase 2 rear lights far from perfect but would pass MOT (corner of surround on 1 is missing and 1 has surround badly hand painted black)complete with bulb holders although pins in the connectors have surface rust
1 phase 2 headlight (glass part + reflector only)
Buyer collects only
i will be going on the backbone cruise and to NSVA billing run so collection can be arranged from them.
