and there`s even more to find:
http://www.belderok.net/transit/manual/
here you find chapters of another workshopmanual, publihsed in 1978, wich includes diesel engine and V6 engine.
And does anybody out there has a electronic version of the parts catalogue related to the MK2 ?
I myself have 2 microfiches (engines not included), but it seems, that this can not be converted to an electronic version such as .pdf for a reasonable fee, and taking photo`s straight of the microfiche reader doesn`t get the job done.
And why would I like the electronic version, well, to post it on the internet and share it with many transit mk2 lovers.
The only thing I found so far, wich was usefull for me:
http://www.fordopedia.org/parts-catalog/pinto-ohc

Thanks in advance for any reply on this post......

:D :D :D :D
so sorry, took a while to realize that postings are not direct shown, so this is in effect a double posted, but I add another link for those diesel riders (2.5 DI): http://archive.org/details/DieselInject ... section23c
and there`s more :

http://www.fordopedia.org/parts-catalog/pinto-ohc
http://www.belderok.net/transit/manual/ (this one also has the diesel 2.4 and the V6, document is from 1978)

Some of you could already be familiar with these two, and perhaps there`s someone out there, who has the parts catalogue for the Transit mk2 in .pdf format.
I`ve tried to convert the 2 microfiches I have, but sofar this has failed.
It would be nice, to share the parts catalogue, once it has been converted.
Anyhow, does anybody know, wethher the parts catalogue for the Transit mk2 was only on microfiche, or has there ever been a hard copy (version on paper) available ?

I've always wondered whether a flatbed scanner, capable of scanning photo negatives can scan a microfische :?
I have a scanner that can do this but have never managed to get hold of a microfische to try it :(

The option of using a flatbed scanner with high native resolution didn`t work out, I had some friends who tried this, but the images are not sharp enough for vieuwing on the computerscreen. I `ve tried to take pictures of the screen of my Copex LD 75D, wich I use to vieuw the microfiches, but the results is far from useable. Then I contacted a company, who specializes in converting microfilm / microfiche to .pdf format, but the costs involved are huge, they offered to convert the 2 microfiches for a whopping € 300.00 Next on the list, was to find an institute, wich had the possibility to read and print the pages off the microfiche, some library`s and university`s have them, I`m still working on this option.
So, if anybody out there has the paper version of the parts catalogue, and willing to copy it, let me know and we work out a deal.
greetz!

Bringing this thread back from the dead and the answer is a scanner doesn't work well enough for the image to be useful. However when I wanted some fisches printed out i found both my local universities libraries had the machines to do it for a few pence per page, you just have to sit there and press a button and then move onto the next page of the fische. Simples :)

Dears, being new to transits .. just purchased one 2.5DI 1985 4speed, bus 8seater. I checked the links available in this forum which seemingly point to workshop manual though only arrived at “not exist” or “not authorised”. I wonder if anyone could navigate me to a working source of a workshop manual?

Thanks!
