Front Door Hinges

Im having problems gapping up my front doors on my minibus they were fine before but now ive replaced them the bottom hinge needs to be about 4mm further out i started with a shim between the hinge and the door but i think i'll take the hinges off and enlarge the slots! - has anyone else had this problem

also are the 2 hinges (top and bottom) identical

Hi Luke, these doors are a f---er to line up it took me ages to do my nearside one i think i took the door back off in the end and fitted the hinges to the a pillar then fitted the door to the hinge,mine had a shim looked like a lump of emery cloth, have you fitted new wings? i think if you persevere you will win without filling out the holes,anyway how about the cruise, the offer is still on its only gonna happen once not to be missed
