You will need a tow bar suitable for a chassis cab, we have one on one of our lutons, though the only use it has had is deflecting careless french drivers. The angle of the mirror arm is designed for the wing, and there are captive nuts for the fitting, though you could fit it to the door, it may not be so easy to see cos of the quarterlight frame. Has the old mirror rusted away, or was it stolen or damaged? Very important, if you still have it hang on to the plastic frame for the glass. You can still get the glass (we order them in packs of 10!) but the frames just aren't available anywhere. It's a trip to the scrappie for original mirrors, again if you can find them. The chassis cab arms are a bit longer. Also, the early sherpa mirrors (mis 80s) are a direct swap and have slightly longer arms. Even later sherpa/LDV mirrors can be made to fit (90s) and are OK if you don't mind them being not completely original. Hope this helps.
