SLIDING doors from the very early mk1s

Hi everyone, as above- has anyone done the conversion or even for the passenger side??? Really think it looks cool but if it's too much hassle I won't bother .....many thanks

I remember someone doing the opposite fitting standard opening doors to replace the sliding doors when sliding doors rotted out I would say the first thing to do would be finding the parts to do the conversion
